Using XCircle

These terms apply to the XCircle website at xcircle.me. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

XCircle lets you generate a picture of recent public X interactions, customize it, download an image, and create a temporary share link. The core generator is free to use and does not require an X login.

Public data and the meaning of a result

The service currently retrieves public account and post data through FxTwitter, an independent unofficial service. Results depend on the data returned by that service and may be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable.

Scores organize recent public replies, quotes, mentions, and reposts. They do not establish friendship, consent, endorsement, a person's views, or the nature of a relationship. A result must not be presented as a complete record of someone's activity or as evidence of private communication.

Cached results retain their original update time. A share link displays a saved snapshot, which can differ from a newly generated circle. You are responsible for checking the result before using or sharing it.

Respect people and the service

Use the tool only for lawful purposes. Do not use it to harass, threaten, impersonate, expose private information, or mislead others about a person. Do not present a circle as an official statement from X or from the people pictured.

Do not attempt to access nonpublic data, defeat access controls, interfere with the service, or submit excessive automated requests. We may limit requests or restrict access when needed to protect the service and its users.

Images and share links

You may download and share the pictures you generate, subject to these terms and any rights belonging to the people or services whose content appears. A generated circle does not transfer ownership of profile photos, names, trademarks, or other third-party material.

Creating a share link makes its saved result accessible to anyone with that link. Review your choices before sharing. Links expire seven days after creation and are intended for temporary sharing. Download a PNG if you want to keep your own copy.

A change to the underlying X account does not necessarily change an existing share snapshot or a file someone has already downloaded. We may remove a shared result in response to abuse, a valid request, or an operational need.

Availability and changes

We may change or discontinue features, update the scoring method, or change data providers. The service is provided as available, without a promise that data, image delivery, or share links will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses resulting from unavailable data, inaccurate interpretations of a circle, or reliance on a result. These terms do not exclude rights or responsibilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Independent service and third-party rights

XCircle is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by X Corp. X, Twitter, and other third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. Your use of X and other linked services is also governed by their own terms.

We may update these terms. The date above identifies the current version, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
