Your X Recap. Made to share.
Turn your last 3 or 7 days on X into posters and a short video. Your conversations, your people, your posting style.
A little preview
Illustrative characters and numbers. Your recap uses real public activity.
A few days of conversations, made to keep.
X Recap reads recent public activity and turns it into a set of cards. Enter any public username, then keep the cards you like as PNGs or a short video.
How it works
- We read available posts from the selected 3- or 7-day period through FxTwitter on our server. If search is unavailable, we try replies under recent posts.
- Replies, quotes, mentions and reposts connect people. Relationship cards compare only the time both readings cover.
- Cards appear only when their data thresholds are met. Your browser draws both image formats and renders the video locally.
What the reading covers
This is a sample of public activity, not every post or a measure of friendship. It does not include likes, follows, DMs or private accounts. A busy account may have a shorter observed window. When incoming data is incomplete, we leave out conclusions that depend on it.
Where the data goes
Your username goes to our server and then to the public-data provider. Results are cached for reuse and failure recovery, with a seven-day maximum retention. Profile photos use our restricted image proxy. Cards and videos are drawn on your device. Only choosing a share link creates a saved snapshot, available for seven days.
PrivacyX Recap FAQs
How do I make a free X Recap?
Enter a public X (Twitter) username, choose the last three or seven days, and generate your recap. You get the cards supported by the available activity, such as top mutuals and posting habits. Download individual PNGs, the full set as a ZIP, or make a 26-second video.
Do I need to log in, and can I use another person’s account?
No X login, password or posting permission is needed. You can use any public username, including someone else’s; protected accounts are not supported. Public activity is read and cached on our server. Your browser draws the downloaded cards and video, and a saved public snapshot is created when you choose a share link.
Does X Recap cover three days, seven days or a whole year?
Choose a rolling three-day or seven-day period. This is a recent-activity recap, not an annual wrapped or a full-history report. The provider returns a limited sample of recent public posts, so a busy account may have less coverage. Two periods can look similar when the available activity overlaps.
How are my top mutuals and biggest fan chosen?
Relationship cards compare activity within the time covered by both outgoing and incoming readings. Top mutuals have observed interactions in both directions and are ranked by interaction score. A biggest fan needs at least five incoming interactions and at least twice as many as you sent back. Incomplete incoming data can leave that card out.
Why are some recap cards missing?
Cards appear when there is enough public activity to support them. Posting style needs 45 posts; prime time needs 65 posts across at least three local dates; the inner three needs 100 interactions and three people. Other cards need a person who meets their interaction rules, and some need broader incoming data.
Does X Recap include likes, followers, DMs or every mention?
It uses available public replies, quotes, mentions and reposts. It does not read likes, follower relationships, DMs or protected posts. If X search is unavailable, incoming activity is sampled from replies under recent posts, so other people’s quotes and mentions are not included. The result shows which reading was used.
Why does my recap differ from my X interaction circle?
The circle uses a broader recent-post sample, while Recap filters activity to the selected three or seven days. Relationship cards also use only the period covered in both directions. Available data, update times and cached readings can change the result, so the rankings do not always match.
Can I customize and download cards for X or Instagram Stories?
Yes. Choose a color palette and use Post 3:4 for a 1080×1440 PNG or Story 9:16 for a 1080×1920 PNG. Each format is laid out separately. Download one card or all available cards as a ZIP. The time-zone setting changes the local hour shown in prime time.
How do I download a recap video and share it on X?
Create a 26-second square video in your browser, preview it, then download it. H.264-capable browsers export MP4; other supported browsers may export WebM, with the format shown before download. On desktop, Post on X downloads the file and opens the composer for you to attach it. Supported devices can also share files through their share menu.
What does a recap share link save, and how long does it last?
A share link saves a read-only snapshot of the public profiles, recap statistics, activity timestamps, selected period and display settings for seven days. Opening it shows that snapshot rather than collecting new posts. Downloaded images and videos are created on your device and are not uploaded as part of the link. Keep a download if you want a lasting copy.
